The Magstim Company Ltd

07/2006 - 10/2007

• Designed and developed client/server application for tracking production and repair faults throughout company. Written in C# with SQL Server 2005 as the backend database.
• Designed and developed web-based remote control software for Magstim Rapid² systems. Prototype was written in ASP.NET but then converted to 'C'-based CGI programs and plain XHTML interface for running on embedded devices.

• Configued Linux server for developing software for the PicoTux device (running embedded Linux).
• Consultation provided for optimisation of 'C'-based rain-flow analysis algorithm.

08/2005 - 09/2005

• Programming of rain-flow analysis algorithm in ANSI C, optimised for embedded processors and/or FPGA devices.

• Research into viability of designing a custom "requirements-analysis" package for internal use in the company.
• Added features to Magstim programmers, coded previously.

• Implemented a Visual Basic 6 programmer for: Magstim Rapid² UI, MEP (Add-on) Pod.
• Developed: Screen capture utility for Rapid² UI, conversion utilities between common image formats and optimised format for display on Rapid® UI.

• Designed and coded websites for: Whitland Cricket Club, Melys Diagnostics, PooreDesign (personal website).

Pi Logic Ltd

2000 - current

• Designed and coded website for Pi Logic in late 2000
• Developed user interface portion of PiLights software, a system used to control LED lighting systems built by Pi Logic autonomously for multiple years. Includes sunrise, sunset and daylight saving calculations.
